Amanda Leslie Phillips is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in sculpture and letterpress printing from Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her BFA in sculpture with a minor in book arts from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015. Her primary sculpture processes are ceramic slip casting and kiln glass. Scientific study, biological processes, and the natural world inspire her work.
Amanda’s work has been selected three times to be part of a juried exhibit of MTSU student work shown at Cummins Station in Nashville, TN. Having an interest in curation she has volunteered at The Frist Center for the Arts. She completed a visual display internship at Anthropologie in Nashville. Her letterpress work has been featured in RJ Young’s, “Impractical Magic,” broadcast campaign.
